The Annual meeting of the Merrickville Agricultural Society will be held Wednesday January 22, 2025 at 7:00 pm at the Goose and Gridiron in Merrickville Ontario. 

 

As a 2024 member of the Society or a friend of the Society, you are invited to attend the meeting. If you wish to ask questions or vote on items being raised, you must be at least 18 years of age, will be required to attend in person, and will be required to pay your 2025 Membership fee ($10). 

 

Agenda:

1. Approval of the agenda including resolutions

2. Approval of the minutes of the previous annual meeting

3. Activities and accomplishments of the Society since the last annual meeting;

4. audited financial statements and auditor’s report

5. Appointment of auditor for 2025

6. Election of directors

7. Special resolution on the update to the Society’s Constitution and By-Laws.

 

This meeting will include a resolution to approve the Society’s updated Constitution and By-Laws, which are required to retain our status as a not-for-profit organization.  To view a copy of the revised Constitution and By-Laws is available on our website, click here.
